At Dinghy we use Notion for all documentation purposes. Most projects start and end on Notion. Documents are added for idea generation, scoping, workshop results, decision making and documentation.
Research insights as well as technical documentation are persisted on Notion and shared with clients.
We also manage our publishing pipeline and standard operating procedures through Notion and it gives tons of flexibility for authors.
I'd love for Notion to be a little more rigid when working with types of documents. It's too easy to screw something up without noticing.
I love that our Notion docs look similar and less all over the place than the standard Microsoft Word document collection or documents on Google business suite. Feels like we own the data, which is great!
I feel a bit anxious when using Notion at times because I'm surrounded by features I either don't want or can't use because we're not paying for them.
